The Gibson SG Tribute is a great vintage-inspired workhorse SG with today's player in mind. Built in Nashville - the SG Tribute delivers real late-period PAF tone thanks to it's 490 matched pickup set. These pups are incredibly responsive and sound great through soaring overdrive as well as lightened up clean tones. The rounded "C" neck profile feels nice in hand. It's not too substantial but in no way too skinny. The neck's satin nitro finish is extremely smooth and fast and gives the whole guitar a great feel when playing that'll wear nicely overtime thanks to the nitrocellulose lacquer. The grain on the body is great as always and the finish gives off a lovely and light worn-in look.
