The Gibson Flying V was actually first introduced in 1958 but gained wild popularity in the '80s with metal and punk bands, famously Dave Mustaine of Megadeth. The '80s Flying V features a slim taper neck profile, mahogany neck and body and rosewood fingerboard. Get your strongest hairspray and skinniest jeans, and get ready to shred.
