Beginning with the visuals, you get mother-of-pearl block inlays, mirror black finish with gold hardware, and Gibson-style 'open book' headstock with a split diamond Epiphone logo. from a hardware and specification standpoint, they really didn't leave anything to be desired. A one piece mahogany neck is joined to the solid Mahogany body with a maple cap to give endless sustain and the perfect amount of brightness. And the ebony fingerboard only makes this finish pop even more. The hardware is also top-notch, with Gibson 490R and 498T humbucking pickups, all hand-wired together with CTS pots, Mallory capacitors and Switchcraft output jack and 3-way toggle switch.
