1900 Weymann Keystone State 5-String Banjo w/ bag

A real cool piece of film history has come into the shop.

This Weymann & Son Banjo was featured in the 1969 film "The Trouble With Girls" and can be seen with its original owner speaking to Elvis in one of the scenes. It's original owner was given the guitar from MGM Studios after wrapping on the film. Some of this banjo's more exquisite appointments include a gorgeous hand carved heel, abalone inlays on both the headstock as well as the rim rod, and a Weymann & Son seal on the back of the headstock. This banjo features an ebony fingerboard, ebony/maple/cedar layering below the fingerboard, and an open-back design. This banjo seems to be in an all-original condition with a non-original gig bag included. Don't miss out on your chance to own a little obscure piece of Elvis history!

This is a USED instrument in it's original Vintage condition. It still functions and plays great. If you have any questions regarding this instrument, please give us a call at (217) 607-8132.
