In 2024, Taylor Guitars celebrated their 50th Anniversary selling guitars. To commemorate, they introduced a line of anniversary guitars--each limited to 1,974 units. This is not your every day 414ce! It does have your typical solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, but features the highly coveted sinker redwood top. The rosewood provides the boomy bass and the redwood balances it out with sweet midrange warmth. The tonal balance between these two tonewoods is truly a force to be reckoned with. Other features include Taylor ES2 electronics, special anniversary sunburst, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and a Taylor deluxe hardshell case. As usual, this guitar has been professionally inspected and setup by our in-house luthiers.
