USED LTD B-55 5-String Bass

Built in 2009 at ESP's Samick facility in Indonesia, this LTD B-55 belongs to the era when the Standard series was doing exactly what it was designed to do: put real low end in the hands of players who weren't ready to spend big to get it.

The five-string format opens up a low B without asking you to relearn your hands, and the bolt-on maple neck keeps things fast and direct rather than fussy. Twenty-four extra-jumbo frets mean the top of the neck is just as usable as the bottom - no dead zones, no compromise past the twelfth fret.

Tonally, the pairing of an ESP LDP split-coil in the neck with an LDJ single-coil at the bridge gives you the classic P/J spread: dark and woody when you dig into the neck pickup, snappier and more present when you roll toward the bridge.

The control layout stays out of your way - independent volume for each pickup and a single passive tone knob, no battery, no active circuit to babysit.

Whether you're a guitarist adding your first bass to the arsenal, a four-string player finally making the jump to five, or someone who just wants a solid platform to modify down the line, this B-55 delivers more bass for the money than its price tag suggests.

This is a USED instrument in EXCELLENT condition.
