The SE Silver Sky is already a strong answer to the “which modern S-style should I actually buy?” question, but Laurel Green gives it a different personality entirely. With the rosewood board and darker finish, this version feels a little richer, a little more relaxed, and a lot less interested in begging for approval.
That is the charm here. It still has the familiar Silver Sky formula underneath—comfortable feel, three 635JM “S” single-coils, trem, the whole deal—but visually it lands somewhere cooler and less obvious than the usual burst, black, or polite pastel routine. Green can go wrong fast. This one doesn't.
Brand new condition keeps the whole story nice and simple. No mods, no mystery, no previous owner with heroic soldering confidence. Just a fresh example of a model that has become popular because it delivers, now wearing a finish with a little more personality than the average nice guitar is allowed to have.
