The master luthiers in the Gibson Custom Shop hit it out of the park with this impeccably accurate recreation of the 1936 Gibson J-35! Designed from its predecessor, the Jumbo model, this guitar was designed to be a parred down version that retained balance and warmth. True to the original, this flattop features a Thermally Aged Adirondack red spruce top held by hot hide glue construction and finished with a Thin Nitrocellulose over it and the full mahogany back and sides. The interior architecture is traditionally built, with hand scalloped red spruce bracing providing this guitar with it's unique, 'aged' voice. The dovetailed Mahogany neck uses the historical profile figure, giving it a full and wide feeling that lends to playability and comfort. This is a truly authentic take on a legendary guitar from Gibsons past; if you ever hear the 1930s calling, answer with this guitar!

This is a BRAND NEW instrument! Comes with original, period-accurate case. If you have any questions, feel free to drop by, shoot us a message or give us a call!
