This partscaster was built with these legends in mind. A USA Custom Guitars '57 "V"-shape maple neck is topped with Jumbo frets to make playing this vintage-style instrument a breeze. An ultra-lightweight Edenhaus '54 swamp ash body provides both resonance and comfortable playing. This most excellent instrument is loaded with scatter-wound pickups by Spencer Deaton have been spec'd to "approximate the Eric Johnsom profile, with better magnets". Only the bridge and neck pickups are wired to the Tone control, leaving that sweet sweet middle pickup wired wide open to the volume control. Finish and relicing by Mark Jenny of MJT Aged Guitars make this '50s-inspired strat look and feel like the real deal.
