The SG '61 Reissue is a faithful reproduction of one of the most important solidbody electric guitar designs in the history of rock 'n' roll. The guitar's all-mahogany construction delivers a warm tone with a focused midrange. Gibson's '60 SlimTaper neck contour is thin and fast while still being comfortable for chording and hours of playing. And a pair of '57 Classic humbucking pickups offers the clarity and detail that make the best sets of original PAFs so desirable. The SG '61 Reissue proves Gibson got this design right the first time.
