USED Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster

This is Fender's Eric Clapton Stratocaster — his actual touring spec, not a marketing department's guess at "artist series." Built in Corona in 2008, finished in Black, and holding up exactly the way a well-loved guitar should.

Three Vintage Noiseless single-coils give you real Strat quack without 60-cycle hum, and the active electronics — TBX tone plus a 25dB mid-boost — push lead tones into growl territory with no pedal needed. The soft "V" neck and 9.5" radius split the difference between vintage feel and modern speed. And here's the detail worth noting: the tremolo arm hole is still factory-sealed, meaning nobody has ever installed an arm on this bridge.

That's rare on a guitar pushing two decades old — it tells you this one got played straight, not turned into a dive-bomb toy.

Condition is Very Good: faint, barely visible dents on the back, no finish chips, moderate fret wear from honest playing time, freshly set up and playing clean. Everything looks stock — pickups, pickguard, hardware all period-correct — though parts haven't been pulled to verify date codes, so call that likely rather than guaranteed. Original Fender hardshell case included. Message us for more photos or questions.

If you have any questions, feel free to drop by, shoot us a message or give us a call!

As always, this guitar has been meticulously and professionally set up by our skilled luthiers at The Upper Bout.
