As Paul says himself, everything that touches the string is God. While we can't confirm that statement the results of that philosophy is simple: PRS uses quality materials to take full advantage of some of the best woods available for solid body guitars. Brass fittings in the wraparound bridge, phase III locking tuning machines with brass poles, and a synthetic nut with brass shavings are such materials that maximizes the quartersawn mahogany neck, solid mahogany body and maple cap.
