The Upper Bout
Fender SRV Signature Strat w/ HSC
Stevie Ray Vaughan. Is there a more iconic strat player than him?
Now YOU can play like Stevie... or at least have the same kind of strat as him. This is Fender's faithful recreation of his iconic "Number One" guitar. Complete with a big, bold, engraved "SRV" initials of the man himself. This guitar also features Texas Special pickups for an over-wound, big Texas-blues tone with a dynamically scorching output. Vaughan is said to have preferred the left-handed (or upside-down) tremolo because its placement on a right-handed guitar was more like the arrangement used by Jimi Hendrix—with the trem arm above the strings rather than below them so the Number One strat also features that very same reversed style bridge. A pau-ferro fingerboard and an early 60's oval neck profile make for a fat, comfy neck that is a pleasure to play.
This is a USED instrument in MINT condition. This guitar has been professionaly inspected for quality assurance and has been professionally set up by our luthiers here at The Upper Bout. If you have any questions regarding this instrument feel free to give us a call at (217) 607-8132.
