Similar to the Eric Clapton signature 000-28EC, this 000-28VS features solid East Indian rosewood back and sides with a solid Sitka spruce top features a black ebony fretboard and bridge. Vintage appointments include a gorgeous slotted headstock, the old-style small logo, zig zag purfling on the back, cream butterbean tuning machines, tear drop pickgaurd, herringbone top inlay, and diamond and squares inlays along the fingerboard. A wider nut and string spacing really allows for nuanced fingerstyle dynamics as well as the 12-Fret construction for easy movement up and down the neck. The Modified V neck profile fills up your hand nicely and is quite comfortable. With a slightly longer Auditorium body size and slotted headstock, the 000-28VS is a re-creation of a Martin classic. The original hardshell case is included.
