USED Republic Highway 61 Traveler
Some guitars look expensive. This one looks earned. The Highway 61 Traveler ships from the factory in a Brass Rust finish built to mimic decades of road wear — bare brass body, diamond-hole cover plate, single resonator cone barking through it. This particular one wears the finish like it actually lived that life, not like it just left the box.
Let's be straight about what it is: a Republic, not a National, and it plays like a Republic — heart of gold, a little rough around the edges. On most guitars that's a knock. On a resonator, high action is basically a feature — more clearance, more sustain, more of that metallic growl this thing was built to make. Set it up to taste and it's a fully functional slide box that'll survive a van tour without anyone babying it.
You're not buying this for fit and finish. You're buying it because it looks like it has miles on it, sounds like a resonator's supposed to, and doesn't cost what actual aged brass usually does.
This is a USED instrument in VERY GOOD condition
