The D-18 you know and love just got a whole lot bigger! With 20% more internal volume, the Super D-18 produces thunderous bass response and tight treble output. These guitars are braced with Martin's legendary GE (Golden Era) scalloped X-brace that makes that Martin sound you know and love. Other familiar 18-style appointments include black binding, dot inlays and a massive Sitka spruce top. This guitar has a unique sound that you can't really find in any other guitar--it boasts both the warm midrange normally provided by mahogany as well as big boomy low end usually only found in rosewood guitars.
