The D-41 dreadnought, first introduced in 1969, is an important installment in Martin's 185-year legacy as one of America's most celebrated instrument makers. Inlaid in stunning abalone pearl and appointed with gold tuners, it's more than a Dreadnought: it's an heirloom. Premium East Indian rosewood and spruce combined with hand-carved scalloped bracing to produce rich, powerful, complex tone. The latest D-41 retains the big, bold tone of previous generations, but substitutes a slimmer High Performance Taper neck for even greater playability, along with Forward Shifted X Bracing for greater bass. Its tone remains one of the most recognizable voices in American music history.

This is a BRAND NEW instrument. If you have any questions please feel free to send us a message, visit us in-store or give us a call at (217) 607-8132.
