The Upper Bout
Gibson SJ-200 Antique Natural 2015
The King of Flat-tops is here at The Upper Bout! From it's debut in 1937, the SJ-200 has been a staple in the history of music and the acoustic guitar. With its Super Jumbo body size - the SJ puts out incredible amounts of volume and clarity. Thanks in part to it's AAA flame maple back and sides and solid sitka spruce top, the SJ-200 is known for its ringing sustain, projection, and strong voiced Gibson tone. High-grade rosewood personally inspected and qualified by Gibson's team comprises the Gibson SJ-200 Standard's fingerboard. This durable wood's resilience makes the fretboard extremely balanced and stable; it gives each chord and note exceptional clarity and bite. The SJ-200 Standard's two-piece maple neck boasts beautiful Graduated Crown inlays made of genuine mother-of-pearl that are inserted into the fingerboard using a special process that eliminates gaps without fillers. And all eyes will immediately be drawn to the tortoise pickguard with flower and dot decor and that iconic Moustache bridge. With such beautiful and bold aesthetics, the Gibson Acoustic SJ-200 makes no secret of its excellent top of the line legacy. Includes OHSC.
