USED Vox AC15C1
Most people assume John Lennon's first Vox was an AC30.
It wasn't — it was an AC15, bought from Hessy's Music in Liverpool in 1962, and it's the amp on "Love Me Do" and "Please Please Me." Vox didn't hand him the bigger AC30 until the endorsement deal came a year later. The AC15C1 carries that circuit forward: two channels, a Celestion G12M Greenback speaker, and a pair of EL84 power tubes tuned to break up exactly where you want them to.
Normal channel stays clean and simple. Top Boost adds real Treble and Bass shaping plus onboard spring reverb and tremolo, so you can go from glassy clean to that unmistakable Vox crunch without touching a pedal. Fifteen watts doesn't look like much on paper, but EL84s at this wattage punch well above their weight.
Excellent condition, black tolex, clean throughout. No footswitch in this one — reverb and tremolo work fine straight off the panel, so you're not losing much.
If you've been chasing that chime without wanting to haul an AC30 up a flight of stairs, here's your answer.
