USED Marshall JTM ST20C Studio MKII w/ Cover

1962, at a music shop in Hanwell, West London, Jim Marshall was trying to give British guitarists something they could actually buy instead of waiting months for a Fender to be shipped across the Atlantic. What came out of that was the amplifier that defined Eric Clapton's tone on the Bluesbreakers record — the one that made every guitarist on the island want to know what was in that box. Hendrix heard it. Page heard it. The rest is a volume of rock history most people are still catching up on.

That circuit is this amp. Hand-built at Marshall's factory in Bletchley, England, scaled to 20 watts, dressed in the period-correct fawn covering and cream grille that Marshall specifically chose to honor where this thing came from. The MKII revision brought it into the present without apologizing for the past: an effects loop, a DI out, and a 5-watt power reduction mode that lets you get into the amp's character without needing hearing protection or a note from your landlord. Celestion G12M-65 Creamback in the cab. Four inputs, two channels, high and low sensitivity — exactly the layout of the original.
