This is a vintage Samsonite suitcase from the 30's-40s turned into an amplifier by fellow Illinoians J. Chester Amplification! It is gig ready with a lush, vibrant sound thanks to a tweed/vibrolux style circuit. Input 1 accesses the Bright Cap while inputs 2 and 3 bypass it. It has a 5Y3 Rectifier, 6V6 Power section, and 12AX7 Preamp section. Everything is point-to-point hand-wired in Effingham, Illinois. It has a 12" speaker mounted on 3/4" birch. This amp also includes a JHS Red Remote footswitch to activate the tremolo circuit as well as a tweed cable. Turn heads with this vintage-vibe suitcase amp or add a unique flavor to your amplifier arsenal.
