The Unity Bass series is Blackstar's answer to a question most bass players have asked at least once: why does a practical, affordable combo have to sound like it's apologizing for existing?

Three switchable preamp voices — Classic, Modern, and Overdrive — cover vintage valve-inspired growl, high-headroom, punchy dynamics, and smooth, open drive, respectively, all shaped by a 3-band EQ with a semi-parametric, sweepable mid.

The drive section goes further than most combos at this price: three distinct overdrive characters — Overdrive, Distortion, and Fuzz — each with a blend control so you can dial in exactly how much grit lives underneath your clean signal.
