This instrument stand is built from solid black walnut from a tree near the builder's shop in Chickenbristle. It folds with a solid brass hinge mortised into the walnut, and the tough nylon parachute cord allows the sides to spread to a distance that keeps your instrument stable - and ready to play. The stand folds flat for transport/storage and has comfortable carrying handles.
The "black lightning bolts" were woodburned by passing 12,000 volts of electricity across the wood surface. Every stand is as unique as its owner, since lightning always finds its own path.
